Measuring Activities - Shape Space and Measures

Base 1 had a lot of fun in the past few weeks measuring objects of our choice using a variety of non-standard units of measurement. We practiced our counting skills. We discussed and compared lengths and which objects were longer and shorter and how we knew. We ordered objects according to their length from the shortest to the longest and longest to the shortest. We also measured in class using objects from around our room to investigate and explore.

Another busy week has flown by in Base 3. This week, we were amazed by water! We began learning about the water cycle by drinking water that was billions of years old!
