Inspired to write
Mrs Cador: July 2015
Writer's workshop
Eight of our children were given the opportunity to meet Nick Cook — a REAL author — and spend a day with children from other schools working alongside him in a writing workshop this last week. The workshop involved preparing for, scripting and presenting a news report including the use of a green screen!
They had a fantastic time and picked up lots of tips to improve their own writing.
Nick Cook left them with this: 'Follow your dreams'.
Thank you to Mrs Winward and Mrs Clough for supporting us for the day.
