high 5 netball ball

On Thursday 16th February, Wrenbury's netball team made their way to Brine Leas High School to take part in a High 5 netball competition against other Nantwich schools.

We had 4 games to play against Stapley Broad Lane, Millfields, Willaston and Audlem. Everyone played in the different positions in various matches, making sure they were following the rules carefully for a fair match. Everyone played very well and got better throughout each game, despite having to play outside in the cold. Within the games there were opportunities to develop Netball skills with support from the referees.

Another great competition, with everyone showing great teamwork and sportsmanship. You should be proud of yourselves!! Thank you to Mrs Griffin and Mrs Winward who have put in a lot of hard work during th Netball club and for supporting us at the event. Thank you also to all of the parents who helped with transport and stayed to support the team.

The children loved the thought of this and we then learnt about the water cycle — the best recycling system! This...

We then moved on to learning about how light is reflected and we came across a problem. During a battle between the Romans and the Celts, what would they do if they wanted to see over a wall/barrier, to see if the enemy were advancing towards them. We discovered...
