B Cador: October 2019
It's that time of year again. Do join us for our Harvest Service at St Margaret's on Monday 14th October at 2.15pm. All family members are welcome to come and share in our children's celebration of this annual festival through the theme of 'from seed to the harvest' with songs, poems, sketches, prayers and even some French!
This year, we are supporting the charity 'Chance Changing Lives' with our harvest offerings of tinned food (letter sent home).
Chance Changing Lives supports a social supermarket (11-13 Coronation Crescent, Crewe). The operation involves a social supermarket and a community hub supporting vulnerable and needy individuals/families with a range of services.
The charity supports the homeless from Jubilee House in Crewe with hot food, clothing, toiletries, tents and sleeping bags. It also assists in providing settled accommodation and the provision of sign posting to relevant services.
If you can support, please do. We have a food collection box in the reception area at school. Thank you.

The children created ramps and raced the space men down it- they looked at lots of different ways to speed them up and to catch them at the end. We thought about what we wanted to be when we...
Base 1 have been learning about owls this week. We have been finding out about different types of owls and where they nest. We read the stories Owl babies and The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark. We are making an owl using natural objects gathered from our outdoor area and Mrs Winward's garden. We have been looking at the life cycle of a barn owl. Mrs Charlesworth brought some owl pellets for...
