Fun in the Sun

It's very hot and we are looking at sensible ways to keep your child safe in the sun.

Please ensure your child is fully prepared for the hot weather:

• Sun hat to be brought to school to be worn at all playtimes
• Sun cream applied before school (UVA/B protection)
• Water bottles brought to school and topped up throughout day

We will

• Provide additional shade – marquee
• Provide additional quiet time activities and toys for children to play with in marquee
• Limit your child's time in the sun
• Encourage children to play in shaded areas around school grounds
• Ensure your child has plenty to drink throughout ady
• Review situation throughout this very hot spell
