Every Lesson Counts - Golden Tickets
B Cador: January 2018
We celebrate good attendance each week with the best attending Base of the Week being given an attendance certificate.
So far this academic year the Base attendance has been good but we think we can do even better!
Base 1 96.7%
Base 2 97.0%
Base 3 95.6%
Base 4 96.1%
As part of our 'What would we do without books?' theme, Miss Hindmarch has created an Attendance Tracker display in the hall based on Roald Dahl's Charlie on the Chocolate Factory story. Thank you, Miss Hindmarch. Each week, along with their attendance certificate, the Base with the highest attendance will receive a 'Golden Ticket' to add to the display. The Base with the highest number of Golden Tickets at the end of the term will be given a treat!
From the attendance percentages, although the percentages are quite close, it is clear that our younger children are our best attendees! Well done Base 1 and particularly Base 2 — the Base with the smallest number of pupils!
Every lesson counts, so do please support your child's Base and ensure your child's attendance is the best it can be! We're looking forward to seeing which Base gets the end of term treat!

Not only was it very exciting to dress in our sports wear today, we also got to meet a real athlete, Sean Conwy — wow! We learned that he is three — time world record holding endurance athlete and that he is the only person to have ever completed a triathlon the length of Britain — impressive. We then had lots of fun competing in our own sponsored triathlon. Throughout the day, we took part in...
