Are you able to help for a couple of hours on Saturday 28th April to tidy the churchyard ready for the summer?

Please come along between 10am and Midday and if possible bring some gardening tools with you. We particularly need strimmers but rakes, secateurs, shears, and forks are all welcome.

Refreshments: Bacon butties and drinks will be available for all volunteers!!

The recent weather has given the grass (and the weeds!) in the churchyard chance for a bit of a growth spurt so we need willing volunteers to help mow, strim, weed, prune, tidy and provide general help. No horticultural knowledge needed as there will be people on hand to tell you the difference between a dandelion and a dahlia if you're not sure.

Many thanks

What a lot of space-tastic fun we have had this week! I can't quite believe how much we have done. We have been busy making space robots and spaceships — we also made a space caravan would you believe! The children created ramps and raced the space men down it- they looked at lots of different ways to speed them up and to catch them at the end. We thought about what we wanted to be when we...

Base 1 have been learning about owls this week. We have been finding out about different types of owls and where they nest. We read the stories Owl babies and The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark. We are making an owl using natural objects gathered from our outdoor area and Mrs Winward's garden. We have been looking at the life cycle of a barn owl. Mrs Charlesworth brought some owl pellets for...
