Children in Need 2017
Miss Phillips: November 2017
What a SUPER day with some fantastic Super Heroes around our school to raise money for Children in Need!
It was lovely to see so many different super heroes around school! We had Pudsey bear and Blush bear join us along with many Batmen, Iron man, Mrs Charlesworth's dad, many Wonder Women, two super mums, Super Harry and many other wonderful costumes. We also had to make sure our Super Heroes were fed well, so we set up a cake sale at break time which went down very well!
Thank you for all of your generous donations (money and cakes), the money goes towards helping children in the UK and around the world who are less fortunate than others and may require a little extra support. We have raised an excellent £81.90 from the super hero outfits and a further £56.12 from selling the cakes, which is a total of £138.02. A former Wrenbury Primary School pupil, Ella Cope from Brine Leas High School, organised our cake sale and is carrying out a range of fundraising activities to raise money for Children in Need. We have put the money raised at Wrenbury with the money raised by Ella at Brine Leas High School.
