This week in Base 1 we having been learning all about Bonfire night!

We created our own firework pictures by printing with straws, made name fireworks and practised our letter formation, developed our fine motor skills by creating fireworks with matchsticks, practised our numbers in glitter and wrote different sounds and patterns that fireworks make in the writing area. Some of us even built the Tower of London in the construction area and locked Guy Fawkes inside it!

To finish the week off we went onto the school field and collected lots of sticks and leaves to create our own bonfire! (We only pretended to light it though!)

Krathong means 'floating basket'. In Thailand, people traditionally make...

The children were also supported by the excellent Reaseheath students who helped to teach, guide and support the children to really...
