B Cador: November 2019
I am saddened to share the news that Bernie Lunt has passed away. Bernie accompanied Ruby, our much loved pets as therapy dog until Ruby 'retired' of old age, on a weekly basic in school. A number of our children enjoyed a very special time reading with Ruby and built their confidence with Bernie's kind and gentle personality. A lot of our children will have happy memories of stroking a very happy, tail wagging, Ruby and saying a cheery 'hello' to Bernie as she and Ruby made their way in or out of school. Bernie will be missed by us all and we send our deepest sympathies to her family at this very sad time.
