In English this week we have written letters to our partner school in Kenya- everyone is really excited about this and have been imagining our pen-friends opening and enjoying our letters. We can't wait to get some in return, we asked so many questions- we will find out such a lot!
We have had another wonderful (but rather blustery) John Muir adventure, we saw skylarks, lapwings and marsh harriers and thankfully no adders! We have learnt such a lot about the world around us...next week explore home!
In maths we have completed our unit on place value and everyone has learnt so much- well done Base 5, you really super focused on your learning and it shows. Next week we move on to addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
We have had our first swimming lesson of the term- the teacher said that you were a wonderful group of chidlren and simply couldn't praise you enough- you should be very proud of the lovely young people that you are.
Another super week had by all in Base 5! Have a lovely weekend.
