Base 5 DT

In Base 5, we have started our DT work which incorporates both science and computing. We are working towards creating a constellation that lights up. We have been using an electrical system called a Crumble. We have learnt about how to create algorithms the lights on the sparkles flash and then work out how to make them twinkle with a repeate function. We also had a go at connecting LEDs into the circuits and made them twinkl like stars as well.

To make our constellations, we looked at some of the different constellations and chose one to create and then we could install the crumble electrical system into it. They looked fantastic!
