Mr Lindop: September 2019
What a fabulous week we've had in Base 4 this week!
We've done some fantastic writing based on the strange goings-on at 4, Archangel Street. We were contacted by a reporter from the Lontown Chronicle who asked us to write a description of what happened when the house turned into an air-ship. The children produced some outstanding descriptive writing about oily cogs, multi-coloured balloons and pumping pistons!
In maths, we've been learning about rounding numbers. We've played rock around the clock to round 2 and 3-digit numbers to the nearest 10. Incredible fun and fantastic effort.
We've also been learning about latitude and longitude in Geography as well as exploring different types of maps. The children even learnt a song about latitude and longitude. Hopefully, our parents have all been treated to renditions at home!
Enjoy your weekend Base 4!
