Well Base 4, the end of another term! I have to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching you- you are full of fun, work hard and are just a wonderful class team. We have had such fun this term; we have created our own engines, dissected robots, explored the world's history, written our own FABULOUS stories, learnt about endangered animals and how amazing a blue whale is, enjoyed messy science experiments and some of us have even been radio broadcasters! And this is just as snapshot of the work you have done! Well done for working so hard, you have all achieved such a lot this term.
I hope you really enjoy your eater holidays and come back refreshed and ready for even more fun (and hopefully sunshine) in the summer term!

The children made some fantastic observations when finding out if materials were soluble or insoluble and lots of scientific inquiry was on display. I was impressed with how well the children used the...
We have been budding scientists this week. After reading our class text 'The Garbage King', we decided that Mamo needed a new mattress as we felt that a straw one probably wasn't that comfy. Before we could even think about making them, we needed to investigate the properties of the materials that we found on the 'garbage dump'. We couldn't make a mattress without...
We've spent a lot more time than normal inside this week in Base 1 thanks to all the wet weather, but this has meant that we've had a chance to explore our new 'construction zone'. We have created a space where buildings and models can be kept on display when they are finished. To earn the right to do this the children must write a sentence or a label about their model and display...
