Mr Lindop: September 2020
We've had a great week in Base 3 this week.
In English, we've been using descriptive language to write character descriptions about a girl who seems ordinary, but is extraordinary, based on Auggie from Wonder by RJ Palacio.
We've been putting together the first few pages of our learning journey, working on valuing our work and creating beautiful pages which we can be proud of. Base 3 have already shown some fabulous presentation skills an are really working hard on their writing.
In maths, we've been practicing our daily arithmetic and learning about place value between hundreds and thousands. We had a fantastic Maths of the Day session making place value grids and representing 3 and 4 digit numbers and converting tens, hundreds and thousands. Check out the photographs of our work!
