Base 3 news

My goodness, how time has flown by! Just like that, it's half term.
We have been busy bees as usual this week. Using our Wild Girl book to inspire our writing while also reading some fabulous texts as well. We have loved text The Creakers- using great expression to create atmosphere when we read.
In maths we have been learning to multiply 2 digit numbers by a 1 digit number- using a part part whole model to support this.
This week we have also spent some time putting our learning journey pages together and these are looking fabulous. This morning we thoroughly enjoyed exploring everyone's homework. The children were very complementary about each other's work. As well as this, this week we enjoyed a lovely sharing afternoon, a disco and great celebration assemblies.
