Miss McKinnon: September 2020
What a busy couple of weeks we have had!
It has been lovely to have all the children back in school and together again as a class. The children are all settling in well, getting used to our new classroom and new routines.
We introduced our new theme, 'A sense of place, a sense of belonging' with a focus on 'Our school'. We have started our learning with art and have been creating self portraits using a range of different materials. Firstly, we used pencil thinking carefully about all our features. Then we used watercolours to paint our faces and oil pastilles for our hair. We think they look wonderful on our display in the classroom!
