Crikey- what a week we have had! We have been busy with our science investigations and experiments, exploring the different ways in which plants reproduce. I hope that your experiments thrive through the holidays and that they come back to school after the break having given you lots to think about.
In maths we have grappled with multiplication and smashed our division — I love the way that these children just do not give up, grabbing every opportunity to learn . Well done!
In our English we have taken the opportunity to remind ourselves of another genre- poetry. We used our knowledge of words, patterns and effects to make some simple but impressive poetry. We then added this to our Shrike inspired art. I have to say the art is fantastic and the children are very proud of it — rightly so!
We have also been busy publishing some of our work in our learning journey books today- it has been a very busy day but a great one. It was lovely to hear how proud the children felt of their work.
