Art and DT in Base 5

We have had a few creative days in Base 5. In Dt, we have designed and built an Anderson Shelter thinking about shape, size, strength of it and how to reinforce the structure. We had to select appropriate materials and some of us also added sand bags to the entrance and bunk beds inside.

In art, we have been exploring architecture of different buildings. We looked at house of all shapes and sizes, including tiny houses. We sketched different parts of the buildings to create a bank of ideas for our final structure. We have started to build a house using our sketches as inspiration.
