From Lauren, Anna's mum...
Morning Bessa, We hope you and the team are all keeping well?? Anna has made Mrs D a birthday card.... Happy Birthday Mrs D,we hope you have a lovely day! Anna has been busy with her letter formation, number work, tricky words and reading. We've been spending most of our time outside making camps, farming, planting seeds and generally just enjoying this glorious weather.... We are so thankful for outdoor space and nature. We are missing you all so much and hope to see you all soon. Take care xx Anna, Mrs D was really pleased with her birthday card — thank you for making her one. You have been busy. How is your lamb getting on? I expect it has grown a lot since we last saw you. I'm really pleased you are making the most of the lovely weather and being outside — it is really good for us all.
From Becky, Fraser and April's mum...
Hi Bessa I hope you are all well ,we have been keeping ourselves busy each day. Fraser has been enjoying his school.work and has enjoyed Numbots that Miss McKinnon has set up for them, he has also been continuing with his space project . He has applied to be an astronaut, made a rocket and decided what 10 things he would take with him.
We have also been enjoying the lovely weather and have replanted our pots & painted all the fences. We have enjoyed some rock painting and Fraser has loved spending time with his young pigeons hopefully he will be able to race them later in the year. Two more busy bees! Mum and dad have kept you both busy, haven't they. April, you've done a great job at painting — rocks and fences. Fraser, Miss McKinnon is going to be delighted with all the wonderful project work you and the class have been doing. Another super rocket! You both look like you're taking great care of the young pigeon you're holding.
From Kathryn, Rhys' mum...
Rhys has been helping with calving the cows. This is his favourite called Boris. He has to count the cows and calves each morning and night. Well done, Rhys. I'm sure you are being a great help and learning lots.
Learning to look after things like plants, pets, farm animals, people (and ourselves) is a really important life skill. We're seeing and hearing so many stories of children and grown ups being kind and caring at the moment, not just from our school but in the wider community — so lovely and uplifting!
