Merry Christmas Base 3
Mr Lindop: December 2020
What a fantastic, festive, final week we had in Base 3! The children let their imaginations and wonderful writing skills to the test as they wrote their own stories about a snow and ice covered town. There were some great ideas about how to fix the problem in their stories, with woolly mammoths, griffins and even a fire yeti appearing! It was wonderful to see how much all the children are enjoying the chance to write and applying what they have learnt this week.
We kicked off the week singing our Christmas song, Winter Wonderland, to the rest of the school in assembly and even tried to throw in a few dance moves!
We also made Christmas cards, played some Christmas games and shared a fantastic lunch together on Thursday. Thank you to Mrs. Warner and Mrs. Speed for all their hard work. It was delicious!
Have a wonderful, peaceful Christmas, get some rest, read some books(!) and I can't wait to see you back in 2021.
