Base 5 World Book Day
Miss Phillips: March 2024
What an excellent day we have had for World Book Day! A big thank you to Mrs Charlesworth for organising the day.
We have tailored our persuasive writing to try to persuade Mrs Cador to buy us new books for our class library. In maths, we were measuring and calculating the perimeter, area and volume of a range of books.
We had a lovely afternoon of reading. The year 6s went to read some lovely picture books with their buddies whilst the year 5s and I enjoyed some time reading our books. We finished the day with half an hour of our story and we are desperate to find out what comes next.
