Miss Phillips: March 2024
What a great way to start STEM week off! We have had a talk about a Harley Davidson from Mr Robinson and we got to sit on it. It was fantastic.
We have spent our afternoon with the year 5s from Base 4 learning about evolution and inheritance. We began reading and understanding some key vocabulary. Followed by learning about why fossils are so important for learning about the past and understanding how living things have evolved and adapted over time. We then began looking at home some living things have adapted to suit the environment.
Later in the week, we will be carrying out an investigation to show how living th8ngs have adapted.
