Base 3 World Book Day
: March 2024
What a lovely day we have had today. We started off with an assembly where we celebrated everyone's costumes — wow, these were wonderful. We then enjoyed a story told by Mrs Winward- a real treat. After that, we spent time enjoying our own library, reading and sharing our class books. In maths we completed a survey on our favourite class books and then created a pictogram and bar chart on this. In the afternoon, in our computing lesson, we learnt how to make a branching database. We started with animals and then learned how to upload pictures of book front covers to then create branching databases on these. We also enjoyed selecting a book from our book swap with everyone taking home a book to enjoy. Finally, to finish our day, we enjoyed a hot chocolate while listening to our class story.
Thank you to everyone for making this day so much fun!
