Base 1 World Book Day
: March 2024
Wow, we had the most wonderful day yesterday celebrating world book day — thank you Mrs Charlesworth for organising the day!
First, we had a whole school assembly led by Mrs Charlesworth and then we had a special story time with Mrs Cador! Next, we showed our costumes to our friends and talked about what character we came as — this was great fun! Then, we voted for which stories we wanted to read across the day and enjoyed quite reading time, as well as other story based activities during our independent learning time. After lunch, we chose new books in our book swap and finally we finished the day by sharing our favourite stories with the Year 6 buddies!
It was such a fun and special day to celebrate our love of stories!
