Keeping Children Safe

We take safeguarding seriously at Wrenbury Primary School and want to support our parents by providing relevant and supportive information.

As a greater amount of time is spent 'online' to communicate, it is important that parents and carers as well as staff at school do everything we can to keep our children safe online. It is just as important that our children know how to use online apps and social media (including Instagram) appropriately and respectfully.

We continue to request that parents and carers check their child's mobile devices (phones, ipads and other tablets, gaming consoles etc) to ensure privacy settings are secure and to know with whom and what their child is doing online.Beware of online grooming: not everyone on line is who they say they are and our children are vulnerable.

The policies, posters and leaflets attached will provide useful information.
