Each week, all the children in years 1-6 will spend one lunchtime (30 mins) with a key adult engaging in the social situation of eating lunch together and taking part in meaningful conversation.
Why do we do this and what do we want to achieve for our children?
Our aim is to develop and secure the social, emotional and mental well-being of all our children.
...because we all matter
The Autumn term's (2017) Well Being Lunch Club focus was on understanding our feelings and emotions, using children's story books and photographs to lead discussions, supporting the children's expression of their emotions through emojis.
For the Spring Term 2018 we are focussing on the theme There are no outsiders in our school enabling us to accept and respect each other as unique and valued individuals. We will also be thinking about how each of our families are the same and different and equality and diversity.
