We were due to have a visit from Imram Kowtal in June to lead a whole school assembly based on Islam and lead workshops for Bases 3, 4 and 5. Imran joined us in school about 4 years ago and we really enjoyed learning about Islam with him. Reverend Alison also joined us and found it really informative. Imran has sent us an information pack about the forthcoming Ramadhan and Eid (two important times in the Islamic calendar), which I've attached, and which would be good to share as these are aspects of Islam that Mrs Clarke would teach the children about as part of the RE curriculum in school.
