Reliving Ancient Egyptian burials in Base 3!

What a day we have had in Base 3! From designing and constructing a sarcophagus, to modelling 3D pharaoh masks and painting their lavish, treasure-like decorations- we really have done it all today. I am so proud of the children's efforts and enthusiasm about the Ancient Egyptian burial rituals and they really dived into the designing and constructing process of their own sarcophagi with great imaginations. The children worked so well together to help each other throughout the day- TEAM work at its very best! :)
I think we have all decided that we wish to be forever-preserved in a sarcophagus made of solid gold just like Tutankhamun! The pictures speak for themselves...

What a super return to school we have had! This week we enjoyed our first brass lesson and were great! The children were so enthusiastic and enjoyed listening to the music our teacher played.
