proposed changes to bus services
B Cador: May 2017
This is taken from the Save Wrenbury Facebook page. As Facebook doesn't reach everybody...
Cheshire East Council is proposing changes to supported bus services
across Cheshire East and is undertaking a consultation exercise. As I
understand it, this will have some affect on Wrenbury, in that the D&G
72 Nantwich — Wrenbury — Whitchurch service will now terminate in
Wrenbury and not continue to Whitchurch. Of course, there is a rail
service from Wrenbury to Whitchurch, but the station there is a little
way out of the town centre.
If anyone wishes to comment on the proposals, the link below takes you
to the relevant Cheshire East Council web page, and this then has a link
to a document 'Details of the proposals and whether your bus route is
affected (PDF, 3MB)'. The consultation period started on Thursday 18th
May 2017 and closes on Wednesday 26th July 2017.

Please can you let members of the local community know that the consultation is taking place so they can have a voice.
