This week on Monday we took some boys and girls to Sound Primary School for a friendly football game. We played 2 games — a girls game and a boys game. We were very lucky with the weather and under clear skies our girls took to the pitch for the first match. Match report by Chloe:

'Wrenbury girls started off very well with Aiofe being in goal, she saved a lot and did very well at clearing the ball up the pitch. Melissa and I both scored a goal each. After half time we swapped goal keepers and Katie went in goal and saved quite a few. Everybody tried their absolute best to keep the ball away from our goal! Everyone was very enthusiastic and were good at passing and running into space. In conclusion it was a brilliant match and all the girls did very well. Unfortunately we lost but we all tried and our best!'

A fantastic effort by the girls who played very well and we hope to see you all at practise on a Monday after school.

After the girls game, the boys then played their match. They played very well and worked well as a team. Match report by Ollie:

'On Monday the boys played a friendly game against Sound Primary School away at Sound. This was our first game and we were really excited about it and we did really well. We won 10-1 with Joe scoring 2, Will scoring 1, Ben 3 and myself 4. Their only goal came about from a wonder goal that poor Charlie in goal could do nothing about! A very good performance from a strong Wrenbury side left the opposition with very few chances.'

For the first game together, the boys played very well and all areas of the team played exceptionally well. Both games were played in good spirit and we all had an excellent time.
Massive thank you to Mrs Winward who helped organise the teams and supported us throughout the games.

Thank you to everyone who took part and we will see you on Monday for practise 3.30-4.15.

We then had lots of fun competing in our own sponsored triathlon. Throughout the day, we took part in...
