The Iron Man
This term we have been reading The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. We have created The Iron Man for display and pictures for our Learning journey front covers.
In Science, we have been learning about electrical circuits: how to light a bulb and investigating how to add a switch to control the flow of electricity around the circuit. We are preparing for our class visit in July when we will be exploring our science topic further.
In maths, we have been focussing on multiplication and division. It is made a lot easier when we know our times tables facts.
In literacy, we have written a newspaper report about the arrival of the Iron Man. We have also considered the benefits and risks from the town people's view point of the Iron Man staying.
We thank Mr Jones (Charlotte's granddad), who was an art teacher, for giving us some time and helping us with our art work.
